1. The service
Chrysofi ("we", "us", "our") provides web-based financial calculators, market information and educational tools at chrysofi.com (the "Service"). The Service is offered for general informational and educational purposes only. We may add, change, or remove tools and features at any time, and parts of the site may be incomplete or under active development.
2. Not financial advice
Nothing on Chrysofi is financial, investment, tax, legal, or other professional advice, and nothing should be relied upon as such. The calculators produce estimates based on the figures you enter and standard formulas; they do not account for your full circumstances, fees, taxes, market risk, or future changes. Always consult a qualified, licensed professional before making any financial decision. Your use of the tools and any decisions you make are entirely your own responsibility. See also our Disclaimer.
3. Accounts & authentication
Most tools work without an account, with calculations running privately in your browser. Creating an account is optional. If you choose to sign in - for example with Google or with an email address and password - you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account. You may delete your account at any time, which removes the data associated with it.
4. Your data & saved content
When you are signed in, we may store information you choose to save - such as your name, email address, display preferences (for example currency and theme), and tool data you save (for example saved calculations, scenarios, and charts) - so it can sync across your devices. This saved data is stored securely and is associated with your account under access controls so that only you can access it. Calculator inputs you do not explicitly save remain on your own device. 5. Acceptable use
You agree to use Chrysofi only for lawful purposes. You may not: (a) attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems; (b) reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or copy the Service to build a competing product; (c) misuse another user's account or data; or (d) use the Service to violate any applicable law or the rights of others. We may suspend or terminate access that breaches these Terms.
6. Intellectual property
The Chrysofi name, design, text, code, and tools are owned by Chrysofi or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may use the calculators for your own personal and business decisions, but you may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from the site's content without our permission. Numbers and results you generate are yours to use.
7. Third-party services
Some features rely on third-party providers - for example web fonts, our authentication and data-storage provider, and live exchange-rate data used by the currency tools. These providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services.
8. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee that calculations are error-free or that the site will always be available, secure, or up to date.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chrysofi and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service or from any decision you make based on it. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes may be announced on the site. Your continued use of Chrysofi after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
